3 Signs He’s Good In Bed

1.  He’s a good listener.

You know those people who look you in the eye while you’re speaking, but then respond with some totally unrelated thought as though they weren’t actually listening to you at all? Yeah. Not them.

Great listening skills often translate into hot sex. It’s no surprise that a man who picks up on both your verbal and non-verbal cues outside of the bedroom is more likely to do so in the heat of the moment. So if he is genuinely engaged at the dinner table, there is a good chance he’ll be equally attentive and responsive in bed. While there are exceptions to this rule (obviously our sexual style is influenced by an amalgam of factors), strong communication skills, which are the foundation of any good sexual relationship are underpinned by the ability to listen and respond to your lover’s needs.

2.  He is passionate about something…anything!

Think his obsession with baseball borders on unhealthy? Or is he the type of guy that gets worked up talking about a project he is managing on the job? Fear not! Getting all riled up about work, sports, a hobby or politics may be a sign that he’ll be a passionate lover.

Allowing your body and mind to become excited and stay focused are positive sexual traits that help us to remain present during sex play. And research shows that being present, which can be a huge challenge in an age of unending distraction, is elemental to hot sex.

3.  He refrains from criticizing and judging those who are different from him.

It’s one thing to be opinionated, but quite another to believe that you are always right. If he is hypercritical or judgmental of those whose opinions differ from his own, this may be a sign that he’s not particularly open-minded when it comes to sex. Take note of those who quickly condemn consensual sex acts or interests as abnormal, unnatural or otherwise unacceptable, as they may be less open to exploring and respecting your personal sexual proclivities.
