But baby, it’s cold outside…That’s why you’ll need to make good use of the Lyft app. Luckily this year, you can feel good about all the money you spend on ride-sharing services! Why? Because this December, Lyft will be launching their Round Up & Donate program.
The Round Up & Donate program allows LYFT passengers to opt in by choosing the “Donate” button on the app’s menu. When you donate, the app will round the price of your ride up to the nearest dollar, and that extra money will go to the SickKids Foundation! Not only is Round Up & Donate a convenient way for riders to give back this holiday season, but Lyft will match each and every donation made by its Toronto community.
The Round Up & Donate program will run from December 1st through 30th, so don’t be afraid to skip the subway this holiday season! Treat yourself to a Lyft, and you’ll be supporting a good cause in the process! It’s freezing outside, but this news just warmed our hearts….
